DESCRIPTION: Northern Lights Expeditions is Canada’s most experienced sea kayak outfitter. Since 1983, NLE has been offering guests first-class wilderness adventures in the orca waters of British Columbia. These trips appeal to all ages (over 14) and no prior experience is required. NLE offers the finest sea kayaking adventure available anywhere, featuring the best kayaks and equipment available, and their renowned Blackfish Café cuisine. Expert guides, breathtaking campsites, calm-water kayaking and unsurpassed wildlife encounters are parts of every NLE trip.

Praised by Audubon Magazine, Outside Magazine, wildlife photographer Art Wolfe and many other experts in the field of adventure travel, Northern Lights trips offer premier wilderness experiences with the utmost in comfort and safety. The trips cater to families as well as groups, couples and solo travelers, and for many Northern Lights guests, this is their first sea kayaking experience. Whale encounters on Wild Orca Adventures are common (over 99% success rate), and these were the first sea kayaking trips to guarantee whale sightings. Eagles are plentiful, as are dolphins, porpoises, seals, sea lions, sea birds, intertidal life, and the myriad other creatures that call this area home.

Wild Orca Adventures are three- or five-day camp-based sea kayaking adventures, focusing on exploring the incredible wonders of the Inside Passage, British Columbia. Gourmet meals are included, and hiking, beachcombing, fishing and relaxing are all optional activities. Join Northern Lights in the orca waters of the Inside Passage!
